Our Approach to Therapy
At Between the Trees', we offer a relaxed and warm approach to Therapy. Part of all Therapists training requires Therapists to attend Therapy throughout the qualification levels. This means that we have all been in your shoes. We know the nerves of a first session, the safety and contained space required to let the tears flow and the spark moment as we are therapeutically helped to link events, we have previously felt emotionally stuck in to create new understanding and flow.
A requirement at Between the Trees' is that all Therapists are Intergratively trained and are able to utilise many modalities including Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Humanistic Theory. Along with our private Therapy sessions, we also have contracts with many educational establishments, providing discreet Therapy appointments to young people in education settings.
The common reasons that people may approach counselling are for support with worries, low self-esteem, feeling stuck in a life that does feel authentic to who they believe they could be, alongside high anxiety and burnout.
In our adult appointments, we are currently seeing many people who navigating family loss, relationship worries, recent diagnosis of Nurodivergence or people who are choosing to move away from marriage and long term relationships that are no longer serving them, and it is a pleasure to support all of our wonderful Clients through the intrepid journey of creating a new life, new discoveries of them selves and embarking on a discovery of their potential yet to be realised.
We are so looking forward to meeting you.
